Welcome in Murgia Sviluppo S.p.A.’s new portal

Introducing ourselves. Murgia Sviluppo is a public and private capital joint-stock company involving 10 Municipalities of the Provinces of Bari and Taranto located in the Region of Puglia, two "Comunità montane", banks and associations .

Our legal and operative headquarter is located in the town of Altamura.

Murgia Sviluppo is company representing a successful model of operation "from below". It is responsible for what has been defined as TERRITORIAL PACTS for the "Sistema Murgiano" ("Sistema Murgiano" Territorial Pact, Additional Protocol, Agricultural Specialized Pact) allowing the Murgia’s circumscribed territory to use the amount of Government funds, about 75 thousand Euros, aimed at the recruitment and employment of about 1.000 people.

Murgia Sviluppo has been also responsible for the creation of the One Stop Shop for Productive Activities - SUAP, which represents an ad hoc service for the Murgia’s territory linked to each technical office of 11 Municipalities located in the Murgian area (the Municipality of Sammichele di Bari is the new entry to be added to the group of 10 Municipalities mentioned above). This service is in charge of elaborating instances concerning Industry activities which are later forwarded by the central authority to the functional and competent agencies of the area such as Health care Centers, Fire Brigades, the Provinces of Bari and Taranto, the Region of Puglia. The latter have the task of giving authorized advices and the authority to collect from the Municipalities permissions for building. At the very end of this chain process, the SUAP signs an Authorization Act that facilitates and accelerates such a process.

Murgia Sviluppo has developed competences in delivering further services such as Digital Sign, Smart Card and those certificates made through the with the agreement with Infocamere, that is the IT services' cooperative company of the Italian Chambers of Commerce.

In this new portal, Murgia Sviluppo offers a complete map illustrating the economy of the territory providing the necessary data, news and statistics which are divided by Municipalities or by activities.
